UKRAINE REDUCED EXPORTS OF RAW IRON ORE BY 51.1%, COKE REDUCTION BY 81.8%; IRON ALLOY INCREASED BY 19%
According to the State Customs Service, foreign exchange earnings from the export of raw iron ore have decreased by 58.3% to 896.150 million USD per ton. The main destinations for these exports are Slovakia, accounting for 29.94% of the total value, the Czech Republic at 24.70%, and Poland at 19.58%.
Ukraine has imported 68 tons of raw iron ore with a total value of 42,000 USD from Norway, accounting for 57.14%, Italy at 40.48%, and Sweden at 2.38%.
Ukraine has reduced its imports and sales of coke by 70.6% to 89,348 tons and 69.7% to 44.597 million USD per ton.
The export of coke has sharply decreased by 81.8% to 668 tons and 82.8% to 170,000 USD. In April of this year, exports were only made to Moldova, accounting for 100% of the supply in terms of currency, while imports came mainly from Poland at 96.86%, Hungary at 1.86%, and Colombia at 1.28%.
The export of iron alloys has increased by 18.6% to 275,854 tons, although it has decreased by 42.8% to 240.401 million USD. The main shipments were to Poland, accounting for 61.16% in terms of currency, followed by Turkey at 10.81% and the Netherlands at 5.73%.
The import of ferroalloys has decreased by 75% to 3,745 tons and 68.9% to 16.874 million USD. The main imports came from Armenia at 20.20%, India at 17.58%, and China at 14.07%.
