Nam Kim Steel exports the first batch of Zinmag steel to Europe, Australia

The company proceeded to deliver commercial shipments of Zinmag steel products with a quantity of over 4,000 tons to the European and Australian markets in October.
According to Mr. Le Minh Hai - R&D Director of Nam Kim Steel, the current economic context domestically and internationally is facing many difficulties and challenges, and the steel industry is also significantly affected. In addition, the market demands higher standards with the trend of major manufacturers from Japan, South Korea, and Europe shifting towards developing green steel to reduce CO2 emissions globally.
Catching this trend, Nam Kim Steel has focused on researching and successfully developing the technology for producing Zinmag steel with many breakthrough improvements. The zinc-aluminum alloy combined with magnesium and rare earth elements helps the product have a durability five times higher than traditional alloy-coated steel products. This product line has high corrosion resistance even in harsh environments such as coastal areas, farming, and chemicals. Moreover, with a solid component structure consisting of zinc, aluminum, and magnesium, over time it will form a Simonkolleite (SKT) crystalline film layer capable of protecting against corrosion on metal surfaces and edges.
Zinmag plated steel is suitable for use in structural and covering works for livestock barns, silo systems, and feeding systems for livestock farms, solar energy farm frame systems, coastal structures, highway guardrails... The product can also be used in refrigerators, freezers... applied in the household electrical appliances sector.
